ATO warns it’s on the lookout for non-compliance
Are you up to date with your employer obligations?
If you’ve recently fallen behind with your tax and super obligations, you could be contacted by the ATO who are reaching out to employers who are showing signs of early non-compliance.
You may get a call to advise of outstanding obligations and failure to respond may mean the ATO will need to conduct a review or audit to assess your situation.
As an employer, there are a range of tax and super obligations you need to meet including pay as you go (PAYG) withholding, super guarantee (SG) and in some cases, fringe benefits tax (FBT).
