Small Business Lockdown Assistance Grant available in Western Australia
The grant program will provide eligible businesses with a grant of $3000 to assist with cash flow in industry sectors most impacted. It will be made available to eligible small businesses across Perth, Peel and regional Western Australia.
Eligible businesses must meet all the criteria below when the lockdown began on 29 June 2021. The business must:
- be located within Western Australia
- have an annual turnover of at least $75,000 and be registered for GST
- have a valid and active ABN
- have an Australia-wide payroll of less than $4 million in the 2019-20 financial year
- have suffered a financial loss as a direct result of the lockdown period, such as the loss of perishable goods or incurred costs associated with cancelled bookings, or experienced at least a 30 per cent week-on-week reduction in turnover due to restricted trading conditions
- be primarily operating in an industry significantly impacted by the lockdown, including hospitality and tourism.
Applications must be received by Tuesday 31st August 2021 and late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
