Assess your investment option

Given the recent volatility in investment markets, now may be a good time to revisit the investment option you have selected for your super account. Choosing an option with a more aggressive asset allocation generally means a higher return than a more conservative option, but with markets continuing to experience significant ups and downs, being able to sleep at night may be more important.

If your fund offers a DIY investment option that allows you to choose direct shares, it can be worthwhile reviewing whether your holdings are still the right ones, or whether now is the time to look at other assets.
